Melt 1.1

This plugin allows to deform image, by waves. Size, intensity, and aspect ratio of waves are customizable.

Version 1.1 corrects some aliasing effects due to "undersampling". In other words, you can observe an improvement when parameter "Size" is small or when parameter "Amount" is important.

Example: to imitate the sun, we applied the filter to a radial gradient.

With this technique, i created a sun in the following artwork: (click the image below to download the version in its true size: 1148x2200)

• Description of main controls:
• Size: set the size of the waves.
• Amount: intensity of distortion. The greatest displacement is 100 pixels.
• Ratio: relation between the width and height of waves.
